Our extensive research seminar and conference programme provides a forum for theatre historians, scholars, postgraduates and theatre artists to share research and foster collaboration. Each year we run the Shakespeare Globe Theatre History Seminar, the Shakespeare and Performance Seminar, the Globe Postgraduate Research Seminar, and on average 1-2 conferences that will focus on a particular theme. Past conferences include:
Theatre History Seminar: Staging Blood Roundtable
Workshop Findings: Text, Space and the Performance of Violence: King Lear
(Act 3 Scene 7)
Architectural Report: Maintaining the Facade
Workshop Findings: Text, Space and the Performance of Violence: King Lear
(Act 5 Scene 3)
